Inspector checking the engine bay of a semi truck in a Central Valley yard

Truck DOT Inspection

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) requires every commercial truck to pass an annual safety inspection. We run the whole federal checklist on your truck — at your yard, on your route, or at our Bakersfield shop.

A truck inspection takes approximately 60 minutes. You get a signed report and sticker, and you're back on the road.

Common questions

What does the inspection cover?

We check all FMCSA-required items including brakes, tires, lights, steering, suspension, fuel system, exhaust, coupling devices, and emergency equipment.

What happens if I don't pass?

With our Guarantee Pass, we come back to re-inspect at no extra charge once repairs are made. We'll tell you exactly what needs to be fixed.

Can I get inspected same day?

Walk-ins are same day — join the line when you arrive. Appointments depend on open slots that day. Mobile depends on scheduling after your request.
